Writer and presenter Dr David Bramwell will take you on a mysterious water journey from the pollution of Sheffield’s industrial revolution, back to a time when rivers were worshipped as living goddesses. You’ll encounter superstitions, the drowned village of Derwent and Jarvis Cocker’s adventures down the Don in an inner tube. Originally a BBC Radio 3 documentary, with collaborations from Sheffield Hallam University’s Dr David Clarke, Professor Ian Rotherham and author Alan Moore.
