Welcome to Off the Shelf - Sheffield's annual celebration of writing and reading.  This year's Festival will once again offer an exciting programme of events including readings, workshops, walks, talks, exhibitions and competitions, poetry, a series of events for children and young people and more.

Programming is underway and already includes events with Adisa, Tony Benn, Margaret Drabble, Sarah Dunant, Peter Hook, Stuart Maconie, Michael Mansfield, Hilary Mantel, Jacob Polley, Arthur Smith.
