Sun, 18 October 7:30pm

The story of a shy immigrant boy finding refuge from a strange and complex world in the joy of 70s pop.  From his Greek parents’ Birmingham fish and chip shop the young Pete Paphides embraced everything British pop culture could offer, ultimately leading to a celebrated career in music journalism writing for Melody Maker, Time Out, The Guardian, Mojo, Q and The Times.

Tender, clever and as funny as it gets … a heart-piercing joy – Lauren Laverne
