Patrick McGuinness is an award winning novelist, poet and critic and Professor of French and Comparative Literature at the University of Oxford.  His first novel, The Last Hundred Days was nominated for the Man Booker Prize and his latest novel, Throw me to the Wolves, has won the Encore Award 2020.   In this event Patrick will be discussing the art of novel writing.
