It’s Gone Dark Over Bill’s Mother’s – Lisa Blower

Artwork Slide

Sat, 19 October 3:00pm

Author Lisa Blower strikes a new chord in working class fiction with this award winning collection of stories. She makes the bleak funny, in a voice reminiscent of Alan Bennett and gives her characters stories they wouldn’t want told. She brings to life the silent histories and harsh realities of those living on the margins. The title is a Potteries saying that means it’s looking a bit bleak, a little like rain.
