Step back in time to explore the origins of more of Sheffield’s Ancient Suburbs. This illustrated local history talk looks at Ecclesall when it was a combination of villages and hamlets and at some of the fascinating characters in Dore’s rich history.  Explore historic Handsworth when it rivalled central Sheffield and Stannington and Bradfield in the Loxley and Rivelin valleys – the scene of Sheffield’s main deer hunting in medieval and Tudor times.
