Artwork Slide

Mon, 14 October 10:00am

This exhibition tells the stories, often in their own words, of Windrush pioneers who came to the UK in the 1950s and 1960s and settled in Sheffield. It explores how they made a life for themselves and their families building support networks through Black Majority Churches and community groups.

Drop in and meet some of the Windrush Pioneers in the Winter Garden on Mon 14, Mon 21 and Thurs 24 Oct: 12noon-3pm to hear their memories and share your own.
