Joining us digitally from Japan, Yorkshire born writer David Peace – acclaimed author of the Red Riding Quartet and The Damned United – discusses the conclusion to his Tokyo Trilogy, Tokyo Redux, a murder mystery opening in US occupied Japan in 1949.   Against a backdrop of social and political upheaval American detective Henry Sweeney embarks on a high-profile missing person enquiry – a case which spans the decades to come as Japan evolves beyond recognition.  Peace conjures a tense, twisting conspiracy story laced with his trademark language, characterization and sense of place.

“Another typically brilliant and idiosyncratic neo noir from one of our finest novelists.”  Adrian McKinty

Rachel Genn is an author and Lecturer in Creative Writing
