Sun, 13 October 7:30pm

Matt Abbott is a rising star of the spoken word scene. He channels the human side of politics to look at identity, class and establishment with great poetic flair. Toria Garbutt’s confessional poetry with a punk heritage is exhilarating. She is a regular support act for John Cooper Clarke. Matt and Toria both featured in Guardian article ‘the rise of the new poets’. Join them for poetry followed by conversation about being a working class writer.
