Seni Senviratne – Unknown Soldier & Chloe Balcomb – The Waney Edge

Seni Seneviratne’s late Sri Lankan father served as a radio operator in an all-white platoon in the 1939-45 desert war in North Africa. Using his photo album from this time Seni creates a poetry collection of beauty, depth and resonance.

Chloe Balcomb’s exquisite debut pamphlet is beautifully crafted with tender insight and intimate observations. Humourous, heart breaking and surprising by turns, she captures her subjects in finely observed and delicately wrought vignettes.
