Fri, 29 October 1:00pm - 4:30pm

Little Amal’s epic journey began on the Syrian border and has taken her across Europe to the UK and to Sheffield.  To help welcome Little Amal to Sheffield come and make art and craft with Ignite Imaginations.  You can write a word of welcome in many languages, write a postcard about your favourite things about home and family.  Or you could create and decorate your own book with a pop up sign of welcome.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Please note, the times for the drop in activities are not the time Little Amal will be in Sheffield – arrival time is to be confirmed.

The Walk is a travelling festival of art and hope in support of refugees, created in collaboration with Handspring Puppet Company with Artistic Direction from Amir Nizar Zuabi. Little Amal, a 3.5 metre-tall puppet of a young refugee girl, is walking 8000km in a search for her mother, a return to school, a new life.
