Artwork Slide

Wed, 28 October 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Best-selling author Caroline Lawrence writes history-mystery stories for kids.  Her most recent series The Time Travel Diaries is about a London schoolboy who travels back in time.  Caroline loves analysing fiction to see how it works and shares her best practical tips, tricks and tropes in a fun guide called How to Write a Great Story.

Here she talks about the essentials of children’s fiction – plot structure, characters and how to entertain.
