Nikesh Shukla is an author, screenwriter and editor of the acclaimed collection, The Good Immigrant. His novels have been shortlisted for numerous major writing awards. His latest, The Boxer, tells the story of Sunny, a 17 year old battling disconnection and racism. It’s a life affirming YA novel about friendship and radicalisation. This talk is a must for would be writers with an interest in race, belonging and, of course, boxing.
